Accredited exercise physiologists are recognised allied health professionals and are specialists in their field, displaying a diverse range of knowledge and skills, working across a variety of areas of health, exercise and sport. Exercise physiologists specialise in clinical exercise interventions for persons at high-risk of developing, or with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries. Our interventions are provided by exercise delivery including health and physical activity education, advice and ongoing support, and lifestyle modification with a strong focus on achieving behavioural change.
The aim of an exercise physiologist intervention is to prevent or manage chronic disease or injury, and assist in restoring one’s optimal physical function, health and wellness.
Online Training Programs
Greater West Exercise Physiology offer a range of online training programs that you can do in your home environment. These programs are designed to assist you to manage chronic health conditions, provide education on continued management and supports you to perform regular guided exercise to improve quality of life. Online training programs offer flexibility allowing you to perform your exercise when it suits you. Our health professionals are instantly available if you need guidance and your exercises are delivered with simple to follow video tutorials.
